We are pleased to announce our new dedicated Biomechanics and Orthotics Clinic.
This can help with all manner of gait disorders and lower limb issues and be very helpful both to athletes, but also those with general aches and pains from hip to toe.
A full subjective and objective assessment will be made, testing muscle and joint movement and function, and can include video gait analysis, a 1 hour appointment costing £95.
The results of these assessments will be used to formulate an effective treatment plan, which most commonly includes:
- Orthotic therapy specific to your individual needs – a range of these are available, from an “off-the-shelf” product to a specifically tailored bespoke orthotic produced from a mould taken of your foot
- Foot Mobilisation
- Trigger Point Therapy
- Strengthening / Stretching programme
- Advice on conditioning, training and footwear
Clinics will primarily run on a Wednesday morning but appointments are also available Tuesday Thursday and Friday – please use the usual booking number of 01603 926969 to make your appointment!
